Christine Tracy,

BS, CPT, CHC

I established Formation Self Care Studio to serve as a vital link between healthcare and self-care. The studio is a place where folks can learn invaluable tools, practice in studio, and then bring these skills into their lifestyle as their best preventive health measure to bring them joyfully into their golden years.

Drawing from my experience in clinical (physical and mental) health care settings, I observed a distinct gap between traditional healthcare and the holistic approach I believed in.

I realized that, in the hustle of daily life, there was often not enough uninterrupted time to practice the things that support us most deeply.

I also noticed in working with patients in clinical settings that practitioners were not getting to the core issues that folks were grappling with and patients were often only provided with “Band-Aid solutions.” There was a separation between the physical body, the overactive mind, and the person’s spirit.

This in turn made patients feel frustrated, largely unheard and dependent on multiple providers to help them find solutions.

If given the TIME and SPACE we can all become experts of our own body, learn to wrangle the restless mind, and become well acquainted with our spirit— so we can stand in our own personal truth.

My sessions are designed to support clients in building their best practices for functional movement and gentle their relationship with themselves and exercise. Through my process clients develop a language with their body, become in tune with the sensations and feelings that arise, being able to sit with pain and find pain solutions, facilitate self-growth and become an expert in their body and its natural responses.

Most of my life I lived in survival mode.
